La Coupe de l'Amitié Dragon 2022. Wind, waves and sunshine in Cannes!
La Coupe de l'Amitié Dragon is an annual regatta organised by the Cannes Yacht Club. Enjoyed by Dragonists from all over Europe (Turkey, UK, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Russia and France), it is one of the first regattas of 2022 with fifteen participating crews during three days of competition, from 28 to 30 January,
Light winds (5 knots) as well as stronger conditions (waves, 20 to 24 knots) determined the winner of five of the eight races, TUR1212 skippered by Andy Beadsworth, ahead of Martin Payne's GBR585 crew followed by Robert Lehmann's FRA431 in third place.
