The resources generated have enabled the construction of hydroelectric power plants and suspension bridges, linking villages and bringing people closer together. Mule caravans now travel these tourist highways, transporting materials and everyday goods to the highlands — timber, sodas, gas…


From an aesthetic and cultural perspective, the bridges have been adorned with prayer flags which, carried by the wind, endlessly spread messages of goodwill from Bouddha.
